In this blog we take a look back at what was another memorable quarter at MaxContact. Read on to find out about our sponsored Snowdon hike, which business awards we’ve been shortlisted for, our social activities and much more in 2022’s second quarter.
What’s new at MaxContact?
Snowdon Hike
In May, some of the MaxContact team hiked Snowdon in Wales to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Thank you to everyone who took part on the day and who donated to support our team and raise money for a worthy cause. We raised almost £6000, so a big well done to everyone!
Awards
We’re delighted that MaxContact is in the Top 50 fastest growing technology companies for the second year running in the Northern Tech Awards 2022. Thank you to all our customers and the team at MaxContact, it wouldn’t be possible without you!
Our CEO, Ben Booth, was shortlisted as a regional finalist in the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2022 UK programme. Find out more here.
Product
In Q2 we launched a number of new features in our customer engagement platform, including…
Employee wellbeing – Help to improve your team’s health and wellbeing wherever they’re working with our new employee wellbeing feature.
Canned responses – Reduce your response times to customers and cut out repetitive work for your team with omnichannel canned responses. Find out more here.
Facebook Messenger & WhatsApp – We added new digital channels for outbound and inbound communication. Discover more about our omnichannel solution, here.
Barnabus
As part of our ongoing support for homeless charity Barnabus, two volunteers from the MaxContact team, Boland and Kayleigh, spent a morning helping out at Barnabus’ support centre. They spent their time helping in the kitchens serving food and in the shower area handing out clothing.
Boland said “Volunteering at Barnabus was awesome! With a modest, tight knit community and smiles all round, it was a great way to recharge my batteries while actually making a difference for the day. Would recommend it to everyone!”. Great work Boland and Kayleigh!
Pride Month 🌈
We celebrated Pride Month throughout June at the MaxContact office!
Happy Hour 🍸
Our teams enjoyed a few evenings out in Manchester throughout Q2.
New starters
We welcomed a number of new starters into the business, across marketing, support and development, including Matt Yates, our new VP of Engineering.
